Want to know how to check a card’s release date?
You can search any card on db.yugioh-card.com to see its exact release.
Start from Generation Force and work your way down.
There really aren't any grey area cards for this format just know the Dark World structure deck as well as Legendary Collection 2 card pool are NOT legal.
Still not sure? Ask the staff or a judge in our discord and we will be happy to help.
In 2011 the game was played with a rule called “priority”. yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Priority (See this link to better understand priority.)
The player who goes first draws for turn.
If the same copy of XX-Saber Darksoul is sent from field to the grave multiple times during a turn. You are allowed to search for each time it was sent during your endphase.
This was a common ruling back then, to avoid confusion I will clarify it here. If a Lightsworn monster/Judgment Dragon you control gets Effect Veilered, You don't get to mill in the endphase.
Necrovalley has had its text updated 9 times, just know the text we are using for this event is this: All “Gravekeeper’s” Monsters gain 500 atk and def. Cards in either players gy cannot be banished. Negate any card effect that would move a card in the GY other than itself to a different place.
Brionac received an errata later on but in 2011 its effect was a little different than the current text. The biggest thing to know is Brionacs discard to bounce effect is not once per turn in 2011. It also can target any card to bounce, not just your opponents.
Only one player can control a field spell. If you play a field spell while your opponent controls a field spell your opponent’s field spell is destroyed. Also you can destroy your own field spell by setting another field spell from your hand.
NO!!! This was only a thing at the very conception of xyz monsters for about a week while things were still being figured out.
